Waistcoat is an important wedding garment in itself, different from accessories like wedding cravats and wedding ties. Other than the colour, it must be made of a high quality fabric, often silk or polyester for a rich look. Waistcoats are a must for any wedding, not only for the Groom but also for groomsmen and other guests. Quite often, groomsmen consist of 5 or more people, it is generally best to select a different colour scheme for the groomsmen than the groom to make the groom stand out. Also grooms colour scheme must be in sync with the bride’s outfit and accessories. The colour synchronisation can be done by selecting matching colours for cravats and handkerchiefs. On many occasions, the groomsmen wear suits and the groom wears a waistcoat with a white or silver cravat which matches bride’s outfits colours.
